Andie Aronow

Andie Aronow is the Founder & President of Women That Rock, a music discovery platform dedicated to supporting, promoting & celebrating up-and-coming womxn in music. She began her career in the music industry at just eight years old as a professional jingle singer and voiceover artist in New York City. Andie spent two years attending the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music studying Music Business, and transferred to NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, graduating in 2011 with a BFA in Recorded Music. During her time at NYU, Andie was appointed to the position of GRAMMY U Chapter Rep for The Recording Academy’s New York chapter, where she spearheaded membership development, recruitment and event planning. 

Upon graduation, she was hired by TouchTunes Interactive Networks’ Music Marketing Department and was quickly promoted to Associate Manager of Music Marketing, managing the execution of 100+ integrated digital music promotions & marketing campaigns annually across TouchTunes’ network of over 70,000 digital jukeboxes. In 2015, Andie joined TV advertising & marketing company PBandJ Partners as Director of Music Supervision, managing the executive production & composition of musical tracks for national DRTV commercials. She simultaneously joined the team at Headroom Digital Audio recording studio, doing A&R and Executive Production for the studio’s sync licensing covers project. 

In 2018, Andie founded and launched Women That Rock, a music promotion & discovery company that supports and spotlights rising femme musicians, and connects musicians and fans. Women That Rock hosts daily artist features through its Instagram platform at @womenthatrock. In addition to its fast-growing digital platform, Women That Rock also produces live music events, hosting femme-focused showcases and concerts. Since its launch in 2018, Women That Rock has hosted over 20 concert events, including a special showcase at the SXSW music festival in Austin, TX, with over 500 attendees and a dozen femme-focused bands performing across two stages at the beloved Austin venue Hole in the Wall.
