The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and Stern Tisch Entertainment Business Association are coming together to celebrate International Women’s Day for an evening spotlighting women shaping and influencing the entertainment industry in music. In a round-table discussion moderated by select students, a group of leading creatives will have the opportunity to share their story and empower the next generation through their own experiences and triumphs.

Tisch Drama continues its Women in Theatre series this spring—featuring Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, star of Broadway's Waitress. In a special master class at NYU Skirball on March 7, Ms. Bareilles will be in conversation with students and offer feedback. Female students from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and Tisch Drama will work with Ms. Bareilles using original music as well as songs from Waitress.
