Jack Antonoff: In Conversation

Jack Antonoff: In Conversation

This event is only open to currently enrolled students and alumni at the Clive Davis Institute. If you are unable to attend, please send your questions to Jack in advance using this form.

Join us for this year’s inaugural AMPLIFY Friday event at New York University's Clive Davis Institute: a special online launch event celebrating Jack Antonoff’s 2021 Artist Residency. Antonoff will be joined by Jason King, the Chair of the Clive Davis Institute; as well as Recorded Music students Lily Amiclo and Stella Smyth, founding members of PAM (Producers Against Misogyny), an organization created to address inequities caused by misogyny in music and to offer educational opportunities in production that foreground people who often fall to the margin in this setting. During the event, Antonoff will take questions from the moderators in a thoughtful and candid discussion about his work, his artistry, and his success in the music industry. Producers Against Misogyny (PAM) was created by Lily Amiclo and Stella Smyth to address inequities caused by misogyny in music. We offer educational opportunities in production that foreground people who often fall to the margin in this setting. PAM serves as a space for people who want to learn as a collective and create in an environment that includes this conversation. In its first year, PAM welcomed numerous guests (such as Linda Perry, Jacob Collier, Devonté Hynes, and Weyes Blood) for Q&As and production workshops.

Friday: September 10 | 12 PM
