Animation Alumni Association

The Animation Alumni Association (AAA)  aims to celebrate the diverse accomplishments of animation area alumni, and support recent graduates as they transition from university to career.

The AAA seeks to connect the growing network of alumni from the NYU Animation Area who work as industry professionals in various disciplines such as 2D/3D animation, visual effects, stop motion, and all other areas of animation. Students who aspire to enter the animation field will be able to access the collective wealth of experiences, opportunities and connections afforded by the AAA members and offered in the spirit of fellowship and collaboration.

By guiding graduates entering the animation industry, celebrating alumni news and accomplishments, and providing a space to discuss emerging technology and industry trends with events like guest lectures and screenings, the Animation Alumni Association will further cultivate a sense of community and camaraderie among those whose careers began in the halls of Tisch’s flourishing Animation Area.

This new association marks the continued growth and success of the greater NYU UGFTV film community.

Membership: If you graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Undergraduate Film & Television, successfully completed at least one Animation Area course, and would like to become a member, please submit an application.
