On September 10th, 2026, The Clive Davis Institute hosted Apple Music's Global Creative Director, DJ and Broadcaster, Zane Lowe in a special conversation with legendary A&R executives Drew Dixon and Pete Ganbarg along with CDI alums Rhea Kullas (2009) and Merce Jessor (2016), covering the legacy that Institute founder, Clive Jay Davis left behind.
Moderated by CDI Chair, Nick Sansano, the panel reflected on the lessons and principles learned from Clive. Students in the audience heard first-hand about Clive's appraoch to identifying extraordinary songwriting talent, developing artists, taking creative risks, understanding changing technology, and connecting art with commerce. Clive's impact was visible on the panel, and crossed multiple generations of A&R and executive talent as represented by Clive Davis Instiute alums, Rhea and Merce.
