The Clive Davis Institute wrapped up our unique artist residency with Take A Daytrip (TADT). David Biral (’15) and Denzel Baptiste (’14) are graduates of the Institute (where they formed TATD), becoming CDI's first-ever alumni Artists-In-Residence. We are grateful for TADT's openness and willingness to engage with our entire community of students and alumni, over a week of workshops, conversations, music feedback, hands-on studio sessions, and performance/social events (DJ sets in The Garage and intimate dinner with CDI students).
"Take A Daytrip represents the best of a new generation of music industry leaders. They are prioritizing lasting relationships, community building, ethics, mentorship, artistry, and collaborative music-making over the noise, distractions, and distancing that often accompany success." - Nick Sansano, CDI Chair.
Special thanks to:
