Dylan Wissing

Dylan Wissing is a session drummer based in Hoboken, New Jersey, best known for his drumming on Alicia Keys’ Grammy award-winning hit, “Girl on Fire.” He has recorded for such artists as John Legend, Drake, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Eminem, Needtobreathe, Rick Ross, Fabolous, T.I., Genevieve Stokes and the soundtrack to the Amazon series Luden. He is heard in national ads for AT&T, American Airlines, Valvoline, Behr Paints and Banana Republic. 

Wissing was featured in the New York Times for his work in recreating the “Funky Drummer” breakbeat. He has appeared in Modern Drummer and DRUM! magazines, and the Disney+ show The Big Fib with Yvette Nicole Brown. His drum loop and sample packs for companies like Native Instruments, Yurt Rock, Cymatics and Soundtrap feature a wide range of styles, from ‘50s R&B, ‘60s Soul, funky ‘70s breakbeats and Disco, up through modern Pop.
