Derek Nadeau
Recorded Music Technician IV
Derek grew up in Rhode Island, where he enjoyed watching minor league baseball games, taking care of dogs, and teaching himself guitar and music theory. He attended the University of Pittsburgh for a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Music minor.
Following that, he moved to New York to pursue a Master’s in Music Technology from NYU, and has worked as a recording engineer, live sound engineer, and theatre tech.
In 2023, Derek joined CDI as a Recorded Music Technician, and when he isn’t at work you can usually find him reading a book, listening to music, or writing his own.
