Having worked on shorts, commercials, documentaries, and music videos with clients like ZEISS, Gabriela Hearst, Chloe, FAY, etc. Teo's work delves into multicultural stories that explore human behavior across different countries and genres.

Chris Martinez is a Mexican American filmmaker based in Brooklyn. He's worked on sets for companies such as PBS, Hallmark, and as a development intern for Running Man Productions. His screenplay, Hombre, placed as a second-rounder at the 2024 Austin Film Festival, which he's now working on bringing to the screen.

Jayla Matthews is a writer-director from Washington, DC. This past May she graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television Production. Over the past four years, she has dedicated herself to telling stories about complex relationships surrounding flawed individuals. With three films under her belt, The Eating William, Space, and now Love Language, she finds her artistic voice as a way to start a conversation around emotional vulnerability. Currently, she is based in Brooklyn as a freelance writer and assistant director.

ishkwaazhe Shane McSauby, GRAD

The Beguiling

ishkwaazhe Shane McSauby is a recent Grad Film alum based in Grand Rapids, MI. His second-year film, Happy Thanksgiving, played at nine Academy-qualifying festivals, and his thesis, The Beguiling, premiered at TIFF 2024 and SXSW 2025. Naa Adei received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Southern California (USC). She was one of twenty initial recipients of the Mork Family full-tuition merit scholarship. Upon graduating, Naa Adei worked as a technical analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency, and then became a technical specialist at the United States Department of State. She is currently a thesis student pursuing a M.F.A. in Film at New York University’s (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts (TSOA), and is a TSOA Hollywood Foreign Press Association Scholarship Awardee. In her spare time, Naa Adei loves to explore the world and uses her #TravelFails to motivate her storytelling. She has visited over forty five countries to date!

She is currently in production of her docuseries Stride for Stride in collaboration with MileSplit, a premier network for cross country and track.

Irene is a filmmaker from Talca, Chile, based in NYC. She has written, directed, and photographed over a dozen narrative short films that explore gender dynamics, environmentalism, and social justice through a female lens. Her work blends genres across film, projection design, and video art, and has been part of the official selections at major film festivals such as SXSW, Palm Springs and Sanfic. She holds a Film and Television MFA degree from NYU Tisch.
