Irene is a filmmaker from Talca, Chile, based in NYC. She has written, directed, and photographed over a dozen narrative short films that explore gender dynamics, environmentalism, and social justice through a female lens. Her work blends genres across film, projection design, and video art, and has been part of the official selections at major film festivals such as SXSW, Palm Springs and Sanfic. She holds a Film and Television MFA degree from NYU Tisch.
