For Undergraduates:
Our Tisch Undergraduate Student Council is hosting a week-long series of events to welcome you back to Tisch. Beginning on Tuesday with winter warm giveaways in the lobby of 721 Broadway, the Tisch club fair and an ABC/Tisch premiere event with Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner for the ABC mini-series Madoff on Wednesday, a showcase bound to delight your ears and tickle your funny bones on Thursday with performances from our Tisch clubs Hammerkatz, N’Harmonics and Astor Place Riots and finally on Friday evening a masquerade ball hosted by TUSC in the Riese Student Lounge. For Graduates:
Our Graduate Student Organization (GSO) is busy working on events for our graduate students as well! Keep an eye out for information regarding our GSO socials where all Tisch grads are welcome to come and enjoy free food and drinks on GSO! These monthly get togethers are held on Thursdays and the calendar is getting set for the spring. Also be on the lookout for MLK programming, Open Spotlights where our graduate students come together to collaborate on their current work and receive feedback from other students across departments. Lastly, be sure to check out the GSO Tisch Talks where members of the arts community come in to discuss relevant topics happening in the world of art today.
MLK Week: February 1-6, 2016:
TUSC and GSO are honored to help co-sponsor NYU’s 11th annual MLK week. The 2016 NYU MLK Week event theme "There Comes A Time...” will serve as a guiding force to commemorate Dr. King’s honor and vision to make the world a better place. The highlight of the week will be the NYU MLK Week University-Wide Event on Thursday, February 4th.
