The Tisch Undergraduate Student Council would like to give a big congratulations to our clubs for hosting important and noteworthy events this semester! Tisch New Theater completed a sold out run of the musical Company, Fusion Film Festival hosted an incredible pre screening and talkback on the film Suffragettes, and RAAD allowed students to share their messages on diversity and inclusion with the Tisch community.
These are just a few examples of the work students are doing in clubs, representing many of Tisch’s departments. The ProFunds grant program went live, and the bounty of applications are being reviewed by the ProFunds committee. TUSC is very excited to see the impact of these projects which are all focused on creating “art for art’s sake.”
Our annual Tisch Relaxation Day is being held on Thursday, December 10th from 10-3pm in the Riese Student Lounge at 721 Broadway. We look forward to seeing many students and helping promote wellness and relaxation before finals! A “Welcome Back Week” is also in the works for students returning to NYU at the start of the spring semester along with our Tisch 48 Film Festival.
