Michelle Harris
ITP Alum Michelle Harris has been profiled in the Rocester City Newspaper for her current work which tackles the issues facing black communities:
"Michelle Harris is a digital-media artist who is tackling social and political issues by using racist historic imagery, self-portraiture, and audience interaction. She frequently collaborates with the Rochester repertory dance company BIODANCE, complementing the choreography with breathtaking media installations. And she's an associate professor in RIT's School of Interactive Games and Media — a black woman thriving in a field that is still dominated by white men."
