ARTBO

This year ITP students Daniel Castaño and Nathier Fernández were selected to be part of Artecámara; a section of the Fair that features the work of young Colombian artists, with no gallery representation in ARTBO [Oct 25-28]. They are participating with 'Drawing conversations' machine, an interactive sculpture that creates different landscapes out of people conversations.

Artsy describes ARTBO as the following:

For four days, the International Art Fair of Bogotá congregates national and international galleries, curators, artists and the general public around a platform of commercialization providing one of the most significant cultural showcases in the visual arts in Colombia and the central axis of the artistic circuit that takes place during the month of October in Bogotá.

Over the years, ARTBO Feria has gradually grown, maintaining its careful selection of galleries in its Principal section, as well as the pilot program for non-commercial sections.

Currently, the International Art Fair of Bogotá is one of the most important platforms for cultural exchange and research: its focus on quality and diversity has given it a reputation as one of the most refreshing and risky fairs in Latin America. It is for this reason that is considered one of the most essential visits on the worldwide art circuit.
