Bio: Matt Hartman is a partner at betaworks ventures. Betaworks is a startup studio and venture capital fund focusing on building and investing at in engineering and design driven consumer technology products. Matt began his career designing the technology platform for Trammell Crow Company (acquired by CBRE) before joining Hot Potato (acquired by Facebook) and building ReferBoost, a profitable business licensed to Apartments.com. He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Northwestern University. He is inventor of patent 8189781, a process for obfuscating digital images.
