Magic Windows: Project Tango

The goal of Project Tango is to give mobile devices a human-scale understanding of space and motion. Project Tango brings a new realm of possibilities in our interactions with the physical space.

In this talk Rui Pereira will do a brief introduction to Project Tango technology, its creative potential and discuss some learnings on mixed reality, its impact on design and our everyday interactions.

Since an early age Rui likes to take things apart to build new toys. 

In the past Rui has built his instruments for Vj’ing, worked as an Interaction Designer for IDEO, collaborated in low-cost, open source eye-tracking devices and led R&D at Havas Innovation Lab.

Rui is currently a Creative Technologist at Google’s The ZOO, a creative think tank for brands and agencies.
