Making Yourself Hireable

Headshot of Jeff Galusha

Jeff Galusha graduated ITP in 2005, his start-up job dissolved, and he struggled to find a job.  His resume in 2005 was a blend of public school teaching and independent video & web production, just a random grab bag of experience.

In 2007, he landed a job as a Project Manager at a digital agency, and began to learn the language of NYC tech.  In 2008, he co-founded a new agency, Omnigon.  Over the last 8 years, Omnigon has grown from four people to over two hundred and has successfully built its reputation as one of the smartest, innovative company’s in terms of delivering digital sports and entertainment solutions.

Now, Jeff is the Director of HR for Omnigon.  In retrospect, he knows why he didn’t get hired, and he enjoys helping job seekers frame their experience to become hire-able.  His talk will focus on his quixotic attempts to create a compelling resume, insight to the perspective of the average HR person, and then provide insight to post-ITP jobs and salary ranges.
