Actor, director and UGFTV Professor Vondie Curtis-Hall has received a Christopher Award for his latest project "Faith Under Fire." It tells the true story of Antoinette Tuff, a Georgia mom who heroically saved hundreds of lives when she convinced a gunman who had stormed an elementary school to surrender. Vondie joined Cheddar News to discuss the film.

The Christopher Award is presented to the producers, directors, and writers of books, films and television specials that "affirm the highest values of the human spirit".
