"Stray Cat Ah Q" by Mulan Fu
Congratulations to UGFTV Animation Area students, Mulan Fu and Jade Ji, who are recipients of this year's National Board of Review Student Grant. Mulan Fu won for, Stray Cat Ah Q and Jade Ji won for The Mole. Each student will receive an award in the amount of $4,000.00 from the NBR.
This follows on the heels of the two films that were presented with the James R. Janowsky Award at this year's Spring Animation Showcase. Kathleen Gleeson won for Snowdrifters and Tom Fields won for The Missing Link. These students received an award amount of $1,250.00 each.
