Susan Kelechi Watson ('03) starred in and executive produced “Between the World an Me" on HBO. This event, adapted from Ta-Nehisi Coates’s memoir, was originally proposed as a zoom reading but became reimagined into a performance of art, music, and so much more.

It asks of them all, even the ones who won’t get out of the way, what the book’s narrator asks of his son: to become conscious citizens of this beautiful and terrible world.
