Candice has recently run out of money and can no longer pay rent at the weekly rate motel she’s called home for the past month. She buys herself another night by busting a faulty lock, but when she is caught the next morning by the manager she is evicted and must leave without her belongings. On a mission for a place to stay and a way to pay back the room rate, Candice attempts to get a job at a local restaurant, which yields inconclusive results. With nowhere to stay and nothing of consequence to do, Candice heads to a local bar where a chance encounter with another patron could prove to be her chance at a fresh start, if she’ll take it.
