The Extraordinary Negro is a short film based on the true-life of British composer and Shop Owner Ignatius Sancho, a freed African who became the first Black Man to vote.

Tatianna Sims is a filmmaker, Academy GOLD Alumna, 91st Academy Awards trophy presenter, UNCF Walt Disney Scholar, and a University Honors Scholar graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts who uses the art of storytelling to educate and entertain. Her films have been nominated and won in film festivals including the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival and the Sony Project FX Student Film Festival. She has written, directed, and produced an array of independent films and television shows including a live boxing match featuring six-time world boxing champion Zab ‘Super’ Judah. Tatianna also produced and directed branded content and commercials for organizations including Princeton University. She worked on major campaigns for Kellogg, Ralph Lauren, and STARZ while at The Mill+. At Marvel Studios, Tatianna worked on Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, and the upcoming Disney+ animated show What If...?
