Congratulations to Alum Kevin Loh ('22), whose original web series, Fitting, was recently honored. It not only received a nomination at the Toronto Film Script Awards for Best Web Series/TV Pilot but also won Best Web Series at the LA Indies.
Kevin is a writer and director based in New York City. Originally from Singapore, he creates stories centered around underrepresented communities and strives to showcase authentic representations of them, particularly following coming-of-age individuals. Kevin graduated summa cum laude from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film and Television and a minor in Business in Entertainment, Media & Technology.
In his final year at NYU, Kevin created Fitting, in the 2021 TV BOOTCAMP class, a web series that was selected by NYU professors to be produced. Mixing comedic undertones in the darkest of circumstances, Kevin hopes that Fitting will continue to develop and that those watching it will feel empowered to follow their passions, whatever that may be. Outside of his film and television career, he works as the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager for Mandarin Oriental, New York.
