On Wednesday, December 5th and Friday, December 7th our Second Avenue Dance Company had the pleasure of attending a special workshop with Claire Porter here at NYU Tisch Dance. Attendees worked on ways to combine text and movement as well as vocalizing.
"Claire Porter is on the move with her portables, a collection of funny and poignant character sketches that leave a lasting, laugh-out-loud impression on audiences across the U.S. and across the globe. Claire Porter received a 2013 Fellowship from The Guggenheim Foundation and a 2017 Fellowship from The New State Council on the Arts."
