Esther Rosenfield, Regional Media Legacies Project, Summer 2021
My summer internship was focused on learning how to digitize audio cassette tapes. After getting the kit set up at my apartment (as this was largely a remote internship) I worked on digitizing about 30+ tapes from several different local historical societies. Learning how to digitize tapes and getting experience actually doing it was a hugely important experience at this stage of my education.
