Any Tisch student who is a January 2026 or anticipated May 2026 or August 2026 grad may apply.
Some Tisch departments are also affiliated with the Graduate School of Arts & Science such as Cinema and Performance Studies. Students in these departments are also welcome to submit a video.
Videos must be 90 seconds or less in length in total - including your reply to both questions.
Your video will be judged on content and delivery.
You will NOT be judged on how you choose to dress or the quality of filming/audio equipment that you use, so long as we can see/hear you clearly.
Feel free to film/record on your phone and wear whatever makes you most comfortable.
Keep background noise/visuals to a minimum so as not to distract from your speech delivery.
All videos must be submitted by the deadline.
Selected students will be notified in early February.
Selected students will need to be on campus IN PERSON in the spring for a single filming date. If you cannot be in person for a reason you know now please email us at tisch.salute@nyu.edu.
