Tuesdays/Thursdays 11:30 am - 1 pm ET

(J-Term only: weekly beginning January 7th, 2025 through January 16th, 2025)

Has the holiday spirit made you think about your career? Here is your opportunity to meet with TOCD on a first-come first-served basis for the duration of the January break. Join us during the January term to speak with a TOCD counselor about all things career. 

Here’s how it works:

  • Log in via the Winter Open Hours Zoom links listed above (there are separate links for Tuesday and Thursday). Note: Winter Open Hours are only available for same-day service. Registrations made through the Zoom links outside of the Winter Open Hours times will be ignored.

  • Wait your turn in the waiting room. While you're waiting, please email any materials you'd like reviewed (e.g. resume) to tisch.career@nyu.edu using the subject line: "Winter Open Hours Materials", the date, and your name. (e.g. "Winter Open Hours Materials - January 9, Hermione Granger") Files should be doc, docx, or pdf only. Please do not send materials more than an hour prior to the Winter Open Hours you wish to attend. Please also be advised that feedback on materials is only given via Zoom - do not email your materials without also planning to log into the Zoom.

  • Winter Open Hours are first-come, first-served so wait times may vary depending on who else is in the queue. The average wait time is 5-15 minutes but this can be longer if it is particularly busy.

  • When it's your turn, the counselor on duty will move you from the waiting room to the Zoom meeting.

  • If there are people waiting, Winter Open Hours are limited to 10 minutes but you can always get back into the queue if you have more questions.
