Full-Time Spring Semester Program for Visiting Students

Spring at Tisch is an opportunity for visiting undergraduate students to study away from their home college or university for one semester and be immersed in a beginner-level artistic track of study at Tisch. You will discover new ways of storytelling in classes with our renowned faculty of professional artists and scholars who are passionate about helping students develop the stories they want to tell.

Be a part of the Tisch community and complete a core track of study and companion courses for 12-18 undergraduate credits. Attend classes in Greenwich Village or Brooklyn, depending on your artistic discipline. You can choose to live on or off campus in one of many exciting neighborhoods in New York City and be inspired by the educational and cultural resources all around you.

Previous Spring at Tisch students have joined us from Boston University, Hamilton College, Ithaca College, Mount Holyoke College, Southern California Institute of Architecture, West Virginia University, and Yale-NUS College.

“The amazing courses and highly experienced professors offered here are unparalleled to any other school.”

–Sarah Barnett, Spring at Tisch Alumna

The spring 2027 application will open mid-March.

Effective May 2023, NYU no longer requires COVID-19 vaccinations. However, staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster shots, remains strongly recommended for the health and safety of the student and the campus community—and students are welcome to wear masks anytime they choose. More information about COVID-19 protocols at NYU, including updates, is available on the NYU COVID-19 Information website.
