Students from the spring 2016 Shakespeare in Performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) study abroad in London program performed "The Tempest" as their final presentation on April 28th and 29th. The production was directed by Vivian Munn and choreographed by Darren Royston, both instructors at RADA.
Cast members included junior Gabriella Concepcion in the role of Alonso, senior Katelyn Atanasio as Iris and Sebastian, and juniors Analisa Gutierrez, Lily Sherman, Alexandra Hoover, Kylie Hogrefe, and Emma Romasco shared the role of Prospero.
Shakespeare in Performance is offered each spring and fall semester as a collaboration between Tisch School of the Arts and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). In addition to receiving Elizabethan and Jacobean training from the instructors at RADA, students also take courses at London's Senate House and have opportunities to explore the diverse, artistic culture the city has to offer.
The application deadline for spring 2017 is Friday, September 16, 2016.
