Cy Delgado
Performance Studies Alum Cy Delgado (Ph.D. '22) has been appointed an Assistant Professor of Queer Studies in the Women’s and Gender Studies Department at Pace University.
Cy says of her research, "My research and teaching interests focus on queer and trans studies, feminist theory, race and ethnicity, aesthetics, Latin/x American studies, and critical geographies. My project, Staging the Interstice, is an interdisciplinary study of transfeminist performance in contemporary Mexico City, which proposes we map the city otherwise by looking to interstitial locations, specifically a prison, a tabloid newspaper, a dressing room and a rooftop."
