Bios:

Sam Slover is co-founder and CEO of the Sage Project, a new type of food data platform with a simple mission: make food data smart, simple, and personalized. He previously co-founded Learn It Live, an online learning website that connects people to health and wellness experts in live video sessions. Sam was also a founding partner of First Round Capital's Dorm Room Fund, where he invested in NYC student-run companies. He's previously worked on social entrepreneur initiatives with communities in Honduras and India, and launched a seed capital program at a micro-finance firm in Bolivia. His design work has been featured in the New York Times, Techcrunch, Fast Company, Forbes, Business Insider, Inc. Magazine, Mashable, Popular Science, PSFK, and BBC. He's a graduate of New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) where he is an adjunct professor and was formerly in residence. At ITP, Sam teaches a course called "Designing for Data Personalization," where students learn to self-track and visualize personal data.
