Alex Wood is a filmmaker, writer, and educator currently residing in New York City. He is a recent graduate of New York University's Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. While at NYU, Alex received the Todd Phillips '94 Film Production Award and the Student Producer Grant, two highly competitive and coveted awards. His feature screenplay was a semi-finalist for the Nantucket Film Festival's Screenwriting Colony.  Alex has also taught future filmmakers at NYU.
