Anna Alekhina was born in Kaliningrad, a unique Russian city, which is separated from the motherland, and located in Europe. After completing her undergraduate degree in journalism in Moscow, she worked as a film editor for eight years. In 2013 she created her own production company, where she worked as a producer in order to be able to hire herself as a director. She is currently a graduate student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
