Lucas Soares is a Brazilian Director that first started as an AD on the Brazilian film industry having worked on over 15 projects like feature films, TV series and even Soap operas. He came to NYU in a search to make the move in to becoming a writer/director and to find his own artistic voice.

Mostly interested by histories that navigate grey areas and that inhabit a psychological thriller space, he is not afraid of exploring stories and styles that tend to be considered taboo.
