Liam LoPinto is a recent graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he majored in Film and Television. He just returned from living in Tokyo and Kyoto for 2 years where he shot a short film in Japanese focusing about an Iranian boy living in Tokyo. His thesis film, "Baba", is an extremely personal endeavor as he's trying to preserve the memory of his grandfather, Dr. Hassan Shahbazi, his Baba. Liam is also an animator and avid sketcher, currently studying Character Animation at the California Institute of the Arts. His films try to incorporate aspects of narrative, animation, and documentary, looking for new ways to blend medium and genre.
