Tisch Alum Yonatan Weinstein (UGFTV, '16) has edited Samuel Beckett’s, Waiting for Godot.The revolutionary vision of perpetual uncertainty, anxiety and loneliness – is now streaming (for a limited time) in The New Group Theater's first Off Stage experimental remotely-filmed production starring Ethan Hawke (Vladimir), John Leguizamo (Estragon), Wallace Shawn (Lucky), Tarik Trotter (Pozzo) and Drake Bradshaw (Boy). A unique combination of theatrical invention and innovative filmmaking, it is at once both a faithful realization of a classic work and an artistic expression of our current moment in time.

Yonatan Weinstein garnered his second Israeli Academy Award nomination this year for his work onValley of Tears (HBO Max).

Streaming on-demand tickets are available here starting at $19.99 for 3 days of access, while students can gain access for just $12.99 by emailing Box Office Associate Maggie Winslow at maggie@thenewgroup.org with a copy of their student ID from their “.edu” school email address. 

In addition, the New Group (in partnership with Oscar Winner John Ridley's Nō Studios) will be hosting free online Off Stage Talks with the actors and award-winning creative team about Performing Beckett on Screen (May 21, 7pm ET) and Filming Remotely (May 26, 7pm ET).
