Like all schools at NYU, Tisch School of the Arts recognizes that COVID19-related delays have created significant challenges for students in our doctoral programs. We are committed to supporting the research missions of these internationally-recognized scholarly programs, and to finding ways to enable affected doctoral students to continue pursuing their research despite these disruptions. Recognizing the unique nature of each department’s programs, along with their specific needs and capacities, Anna McCarthy, Ph.D., Chair of Cinema Studies, and André Lepecki, Ph.D., Chair of Performance Studies, are developing program-specific plans to address these challenges.
