This summer ML Geiger is working on a tour version of Jonatha Brooke’s solo show My Mother Has 4 Noses at the Kate in Old Saybrook, CT, and designing lighting for various pieces in the Vail International Dance Festival in Vail, CO. She is spending the rest of the time working on arts and crafts upstate.
Constance Hoffman is in Europe for most of the summer dividing her time between chorus fittings for Les Huguenots at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, rehearsals and fittings for year two of Turandot at the Bregenz Festival in Austria, and meetings for a new project for the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp.
Christine Jones is opening Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London July 31st, and then going off the radar for as much of August as she can!
Jeff Larson June: developing a new project with Big Dance Theater and presenting Chromatic, a new work developed with Susan Marshall, Suzanne Bocanegra and Jason Treuting at The Kitchen. July: presenting CATCH at Basilica Hudson on July 10 and developing a new project with Geoff Sobelle, Steve Cuiffo, and Trey Lyford at St. Anne's Warehouse. August: moving upstate!
John McKernon is lighting the upcoming productions of In the Heights for Muhlenberg Summer Theatre and What the Butler Saw for the Westport Country Playhouse.
Chris Muller worked with Darrel Maloney (NYU class of '92) to create projections for the 2016 Tony Awards broadcast. He completed several months’ work as a concept artist on a new Steven Spielberg film. He is preparing new exhibits, as well as a master plan for a major redesign, for the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum in Salt Lake City. This summer Chris will be in Austria and the Catskills painting, and in virtual space drawing.
Maggie Raywood is currently in Florence, working with Jim Calder on a project with the UGD students in his Commedia dell'Arte class. In addition, she has been studying and drafting two dresses from the Acton collection, which were made by Callot Soeurs circa 1918.
