Metropolitan New York Library Council is non-profit organization where New York’s libraries and archives come together to learn, share ideas, and collaborate. My internship was a project in collaboration between Art and Science Collaboration, Inc. (ASCI) and METRO. I worked on assessing, reformatting, and creating metadata for ASCI’s symposia recordings. I also worked on archiving the web properties of ASCI and making them accessible through Webrecord.io. During the course of this internship, I learned a lot about digital archiving as well as the world of non-profit organization.
