My internship work with the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Medical Center Archive film collection was a continuation of the work I began in Spring 2019 as part of our individual project for the MIAP Collections Management course. In this internship, my projects included updating the existing film inventory to more accurately describe the films and standardize metadata, conducting an appraisal of the archive's historic film projection equipment, and identifying preservation risks to films as well as solutions for potential nitrate films.
