Steven Villereal gained experience preparing films from the Dance Division for off-site storage, which involved not only physical preparation, but also comparing and sometimes correcting metadata from the item to the database. The internship gave Villereal insight into how research libraries and archives handle vast collections where all materials cannot be available for immediate access, requiring systems for both on-site and off-site storage.
