The internship at Human Rights Watch provided me with a a unique opportunity to work in a digital production environment under the supervision of a MIAP graduate. I was able to work on different projects including transfer of MiniDV tapes, cataloging of hundreds of records using the digital asset management system, participate in discussions about digital archiving and learn the use of digital management tools for audiovisual collections.
