After several years of work, the illustrations of M.A. Arts Politics alum GB Kim '16 have been published in the newly released The Explorer's Guide to Biology (XBio). XBio seeks to reimagine the science textbook as a more engaging, accessible space by including narrative prose, vibrant images, and by creating accompanying videos. It offers opportunities for different kinds of learners to participate in the material and encourages students to approach science learning through active problem-solving.
The creators have made the book available free of charge as part of their commitment to open access.
