Dana Elkis
ITP Post-Doctoral Fellow
Typography-focused and print-obsessed design director, Dana Elkis specializes in web design and experience design. More recently, Dana’s work combines new media technology with classic design principles to challenge the way we tell stories which often take the form of live web performances and discursive design objects.
She acted as senior designer at the award-winning studio Michal Sahar where she worked on the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, as well as the Israeli pavilion at Venice Biennale of Architecture 2018.
Trained as a graphic designer at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, she is drawn to design that has relevance, longevity, and purpose. Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, she is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
