Jocelyn Gonzales

Jocelyn Gonzales is an award-winning producer, editor, and educator working across journalism, podcasting, and content creation. She is Executive Producer of PRX Productions, the acclaimed audio studio behind original series for WGBH, TED, NOVA, CBS, Patagonia, Templeton Foundation, Southern Poverty Law Center, National Constitution Center, The Moth, HBO Max, Mayo Clinic, Mellon Foundation, and more. Previously, she was Executive Producer of the Peabody Award–winning Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen, where she received a Silver New York Festivals Award for Best Documentary Series. Her work also includes The New York Times (Popcast, Book Review, Times Insider), STAT News, Hello Sunshine, The Mash-Up Americans, Simon & Schuster, and ABC Radio.

Under her leadership, PRX Productions has received Webby, Anthem, CASE, and dotCOMM Platinum Awards; Signal Awards (Gold, Silver, Bronze); International Women’s Podcasting Awards; Wilbur Awards of Excellence; NETA Public Media Awards; Black Podcasting Awards; Youth Media Awards; and New York Festivals Radio Awards. Her film and digital work includes sound editing and mixing on Living Yoga (dir. Shiva Kumar), Kid Creole and My Coconuts (dir. Adriana Kaegi), Dirty Martini and the New Burlesque (dir. Gary Beeber), and And Again I Dream (dir. Catherine Gund), as well as The Snackdown (Cooking Channel) and Modern Love (The New York Times). She is a founding producer and board member of Feet in Two Worlds, a nonprofit focused on immigrant perspectives; projects she contributed to received the Sigma Delta Chi Award, New America Award, Ippies, Golden Crane Awards, and INN Insight Awards.
