Associate Arts Professor, Media Producing
The Office of Special Programs at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts is searching to fill a full-time, non-tenure track Associate Arts Professor position in producing that will commence on September 1, 2025.
This graduate level program is delivered entirely online with a blend of synchronous and asynchronous content.
Faculty members will teach 5 courses online per year (12-month position), advise graduate students, and participate in departmental and/or school-wide committees. Ongoing professional work is encouraged and expected. Qualifications
Candidates should have numerous professional credits of produced narrative films, television series/limited series, branded content. Ideal candidates will be experienced in all aspects of producing: creative, script development, casting, set management, budgets, scheduling and post-production. On-set experience managing productions and the budgeting process is preferred. Evidence of teaching experience and/or capability will be strongly considered. In addition to having a significant body of professional creative work, the candidate should be prepared to participate fully in the Program, as well as in other functions of the University, as required. Faculty can reside anywhere in the world. Most synchronized activity happens between 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. ET.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000. This pay range represents base pay only (for 12 months) and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
