The Future Filmmakers’ final projects were all short films, both narrative and documentary, with no dialogue. The projects also included two collaborative projects, one in animation and the other with the Future Dancers & Dancemakers.
The Future Filmmakers Workshop has been running for over 30 years. It was the inaugural program of the free, 14-week Future Artists Program open to high school students from the tri-state area. This spring’s cohort included 99 students, some of which commuted from Brooklyn and Pennsylvania.
The spring 2024 Future Artists Program application will be available August 1, 2023.
