Sol Cabrini de la Ciudad

Sol Cabrini de la Ciudad is a scholar and artist. Drawing from practice-based research, Cabrini is interested in acting, writing, dance, and performance theory. She holds a BA and MA in Performance Studies. Together with Chaski No, Cabrini formed the collective solYchaski with collaborative work spanning, music, sound, video, and visual art. “Theirs is a highly abstracted visual theorization of place.”

I chose to study at Performance Studies to rethink and reorient attachments to philosophy, narrative, history, politics, meaning, and computational structures.
