The Land of the Mutts!
B.A. Candidate Melissa McDonald will be hosting "The Land of the Mutts!" with the Biracial and Multiracial Students Association at The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Sunday, April 8th. The showcase is dedicated to people of biracial/multiracial backgrounds, both raising awareness of this particular cultural perspective and its influence in art-making. All proceeds will be going to Save the Children: El Salvador and The Ubuntu Education fund. Art will be up for silent auction. A suggested donation of $5 is encouraged.
