ABOUT THIS SHOW

In 1972, two hippies in New York offered Imre a ride to San Francisco in their car. He hesitated, turned them down, and then dreamt about the trip he missed for forty-six years. In 2018, he and Barbara published a book with a little press in California – the perfect excuse to finally head west for the launch. After visiting Haight-Ashbury and a high-end weed boutique, they drove down the coast, encountering elephant seals, an old friend, a demi-goddess of postmodern dance, and last but not least, the reigning queen of grunge rock in Los Angeles. Dream fulfilled.
